Frequently Asked Questions

What is Reach?

Reach helps you stay in touch with the people who matter — gently.

You add people you care about, choose how often you want to reach out, and Reach reminds you at the right time — without pressure or noise.

Do I need an account to use Reach?

No.

Reach doesn’t require accounts, sign-ups, or logins. Everything works locally on your device.

How does Reach store my data?

Your data stays on your device and is optionally backed up to your own iCloud.

  • We don’t run servers

  • We don’t see your data

  • We don’t collect or track anything

Only you can access it.

How do reminders work?

When you add a person, you choose how often you want to reach out (weekly, monthly, or custom).

At your chosen reminder time:

  • You’ll get a notification

  • The person appears in the Today tab

  • You decide what to do — reach out, snooze, or come back later

No automatic messages are sent.

What is the Today tab?

The Today tab shows:

  • People you should reach out to today

  • Or an empty state when you’re all set

It updates automatically and always reflects what’s due — even if you didn’t tap a notification.

What are Moments?

Moments let you save photos and memories for each person.

Use them to:

  • Remember meaningful moments

  • Add personal context

  • Feel more connected over time

Moments are private and stored the same way as the rest of your data.

Does Reach send messages for me?

No.

Reach never sends messages on your behalf.

When you choose a channel (Messages, WhatsApp, etc.), Reach simply opens that app. What you send — or don’t send — is entirely up to you.

Can I turn notifications off?

Yes. Anytime.

You’re always in control:

  • Disable notifications

  • Snooze reminders

  • Edit or delete people

  • Turn off iCloud sync

  • Delete the app to remove all local data

Is Reach free?

Yes. Reach is free to download and use. Some optional features may become part of a paid plan in the future, but the core experience is designed
